Pramod Bommisetty
Being a home merchant is tougher than it seems. With limited capital, there is only so much they can spend for daily operations unlike regular merchants. Acquiring new customers and reaching out to them is a daily challenge that has to be managed along with order fulfilment. With no steady stream of income and no idea of where the next customer is coming from, a home merchant's life is fraught with improbability.
Our founders had difficulty in finding home-made food during their travel and away from family. On learning that this was not just restricted to food, they both decided to bridge this gap - between home merchants looking for visibility and customers searching for home-made produce. The INTLO app made its debut in Seattle, WA and was met with good reception. It will soon be launched in other locations in USA and other countries shortly.
